Dr Alma, a highly accomplished dentist, obtained her honours degree from University College Cork more than a decade ago. Her journey in dentistry took her to Perth, Australia, where she spent three enriching years in private practice, catering to patients of all ages. It was during this time that Alma developed a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, completing her Invisalign training and honing her skills in composite bonding. These areas have become her primary passions within the field, with a strong focus on minimally invasive techniques.
Dr Alma has also earned a postgraduate diploma in IV sedation from the prestigious Eastman Institute in London. With her extensive experience in administering sedation to numerous patients, she has successfully helped countless individuals overcome their dental fears and anxieties.

Dr. Paul Creaven

Dr Paul is a dedicated dentist with a passion for providing exceptional dental care. He graduated with an honours degree in Dental Surgery from UCC and has a background as a consultant civil engineer. After completing his degree, Dr Paul embarked on an exciting adventure in Yellowknife, Canada, where he honed his skills in advanced restorative and surgical dentistry. Living in such a remote region provided him with invaluable practical and theoretical experience.
During his time in Canada, Dr Paul attended numerous courses and practical sessions led by renowned dentists and oral surgeons in North America. He had the privilege of being mentored by esteemed members of prestigious organizations such as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of General Dentistry, and the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Returning to his hometown of Galway after a year working in Dublin, Dr Paul furthered his professional development by obtaining a diploma in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's in Oral Implantology at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, with a research focus on bone stability following implant placement in patients with a thin gingival biotype.
Outside of dentistry, Paul enjoys spending time with his two dogs, Ronnie and Reggie. He is also a passionate supporter of Galway GAA, proudly cheering on his local team. With expertise in endodontic treatments, dental implants, aesthetic dentistry, surgical tooth extractions (including wisdom teeth), and soft and hard tissue augmentation, Dr Paul Creaven is dedicated to delivering personalized and exceptional dental care to his patients, ensuring their oral health and happiness.

Dr Idoia is a skilled dentist and dentofacial orthopaedics specialist with a strong educational background in the field. She holds a Master's Degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from the University of Madrid, Spain. Her three-year full-time program focused on comprehensive orthodontic treatment, and she received official certification as a Full Member from the Network of Erasmus-Based European Orthodontic Postgraduate Programs (NEBEOP) council.
In addition to her master's degree, Dr Idoia pursued further specialization in clear aligner techniques. She completed a Master's in Advanced Clear Aligner treatment. She also participated in an Orthodontic Mini Residency in the Clear Aligner Technique led by Dr Sandra Tai, a renowned professor in Orthodontics at the University of British Columbia in Canada. These programs equipped her with advanced knowledge and skills in using clear aligners for orthodontic treatment.
Before her studies in orthodontics, Dr Idoia obtained her degree in dentistry. Her dedication and excellence were recognized with the prestigious 2019 Excellence Distinction, awarded to the top graduating student. During her dental studies, she demonstrated exceptional academic performance and graduated with honours.
Beyond her technical expertise, Dr Idoia ensures a friendly and welcoming environment in her practice. She builds strong relationships with patients, providing personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs and goals.
Dr. Isabella Qianyu Ye Chen

Dr. Isabella Qianyu Ye Chen graduated in Dentistry from the Complutense University of Madrid and went on to complete a Master’s in Endodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry at the Mississippi Institution. She combines advanced clinical training with a gentle, patient-centred approach to care.
Dr. Chen has a particular interest in root canal therapy and aesthetic restorative treatments. She is passionate about providing high-quality, precise dentistry that enhances both the health and appearance of her patients’ smiles. Her attention to detail and artistic eye allow her to achieve natural, long-lasting results.

Dr. Cronin has a particular interest in oral surgery and aesthetic restorative dentistry. She has completed advanced training in Medical Aesthetics under Dr. Rikin Parekh and refined her skills in composite artistry through postgraduate training with Dr. Monik Vasant. Her focus is on delivering minimally invasive, high-precision treatments that enhance both function and appearance.
Committed to continual professional growth, Dr. Cronin regularly undertakes advanced courses in the UK to remain at the forefront of modern dental techniques and patient care. Dr Monica is a highly skilled and dedicated orthodontist with a passion for creating beautiful smiles and improving oral health. With extensive expertise in the field of orthodontics, Dr Monica is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients.
Dr Monica holds a Master's Degree in Biostatistics and Biometrics. She specialized in orthodontics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Lisbon.
Here she pursued a three-year full-time specialization in orthodontics, completing an intensive residency program where she gained in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating various dental and facial irregularities.
Dr Monica stays at the forefront of the latest advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques, continuously expanding her knowledge through participation in conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses. She has authored or co-authored several papers published in indexed journals, covering topics such as implant stability, orthodontic models produced by 3-dimensional printing techniques, and the relationship between temporomandibular disorders and music performance anxiety in violinists. This dedication allows her to offer the most effective and innovative treatments to her patients, delivering outstanding results.
With a warm and compassionate approach, Dr Monica takes the time to understand each patient's unique needs and concerns. Elena Commins
Dental Hygienist

Elena is a proficient and talented Dental Hygienist with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from University College Cork. Elena initially worked as a Dental Nurse for several years where she grew her love for dentistry through assisting and engaging with patients. She received a National Certificate in Dental Nursing from Dublin Dental School and Hospital in 2005 where she went on to work in Galway before moving and working in Sydney, NSW, Australia and then on to York, UK. With a well developed passion for dentistry, she decided in 2010 to go back to university and complete her qualification as a Dental Hygienist. On completing her studies at UCC in 2012 she worked in London before moving back to Galway in 2018.
During her time in the UK she developed her skills as a Dental Hygienist and more importantly her engaging and gentle touch with patients to make them feel comfortable. She always has a friendly smile and words of wisdom at the end of each appointment making sure oral hygiene is paramount to each of her patients.
Outside of her work, Elena dedicates herself to her family and is enjoying life spending time with her children watching and helping them grow. She loves the outdoors and brisk walks.
